Ashley Madekwe and Ashley Leggat
Madekwe is a child of an ethnically diverse family in South London in England. Both her parents are both English. She was a student at The Brit School when she was fourteen years old. She was a student of acting in The Royal Academy of Dramatic Art, London. At the academy was when she performed in various stage productions, such as King Henry V as Princess Katherine and Wuthering Heights as Catherine Earnshaw.
Madekwe first began her acting career with Storm Damage. Since then, she has appeared on Teachers, Doctors Casualty and Drop Dead Gorgeous. Madekwe scored her first motion picture in the 2007 Woody Allen film Cassandra's Dream, opposite Colin Farrell and Ewan McGregor. In the following year she portrayed Elisha (a BBC Three drama-pilot) in West 10 LDN. Additionally she appeared in Trexx as Ollie and in six episodes of Flipside. The ITV2 show Secret Diary of a Call Girl featured her in the year 2008 as Bambi. Madekwe starred as the lead character in How to Lose Friends And Alienate Others. The comedy that was released in 2008. She also appeared as a character in Little Sweet Thing, by Roy Williams, and Flight Path written by David Watson.
Madekwe debuted in the US with The Beautiful Life. The drama series ran on The CW for only two episodes, but it was cancelled. In February, she was cast 2011, as Ashley Davenport on the ABC drama Revenge. Madekwe was a regular in the ABC drama series Revenge in two episodes. In May 2013 that she would be leaving the series following an appearance in the first season of the third. The actress played Tituba in the program Salem from 2014 to 2016. Madekwe wed her actor boyfriend Iddo goldberg in June of 2012. Together, they worked in the film Secret Diary of a Call Girl. Goldberg also appeared alongside Madekwe on Salem.
Ashley Leggat is a Gemini-nominated actress, who was born into a big family. She was the daughter of Roy and Patty Leggat. Her family included both parents Roy and Patty along with four of their older brothers: Brett, Todd and Bram twins, Rob, and Brett. Ashley's siblings, who are all athletic, played baseball during the summer and played hockey in the winter months. Ashley was never able to walk. She danced. At just 2 1/2 years old and a half, she was a part of Baby Ballet. Ashley discovered a love for dancing after she started the Baby Ballet. Ashley was a professional dancer throughout the various divisions up until her graduation from high school. She was a competitor in jazz, tap, ballet, pointe and acrobatics. The top soloist at major competitions such as International Dance Challenge, Showstoppers, 56-7-8 Showtime, Flash Dance, Dance, Dance, Dance and many more were awarded to Ashley.
